Specific Skills Jewelry Classes
The Modnitsa Atelier Specific Skills workshops are designed to further the jewelry techniques you learned in the Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Jewelry Classes. Each workshop below is dedicated to a "specific skill". In addition to purchasing individual classes, Class Packs are available so you can purchase multiple classes and save. See bottom of the page for Class Pack details. There are 15 Specific Skills class options to choose from:
CHANDELIER EARRINGS90 Minutes
Learn to craft chandelier earrings from scratch (all the wire and beadwork) from either silver or gold-plated wire and semi-precious stones.
CONNECTED STONES NECKLACE90 Minutes
Learn to connect stones together through a wire-wrapping technique, and properly wire-wrap the clasp to finish your piece.
RING DESIGN: Double Header120 Minutes
Using a ring mandrel, metal wire, stones and crystals, learn how to make wire-wrapped rings to fit your size, aesthetic and creativity. You will make 2 rings in this class.
FRENCH NECKLACE90 Minutes
Using a beading chain and semi-precious stones and crystals, learn to create a necklace that can either be worn long or wrapped around your neck for a layered look.
CENTER STONE BRACELET90 Minutes
Learn all the ins and outs of making a bracelet: how to properly measure it, what clasps to use, how to work with a center stone and professionally finish it with french wire.
KNOTTED NECKLACE/BRACELET90 Minutes
Learn how to knot a silk cord to create designs with semi-precious stones, professionally separated with gorgeous knots.
CLUSTER BRACELET90 Minutes
Learn how to create a bracelet full of charms with gold or silver-colored chain. Let your imagination be your guide and choose from gemstones, objets d'art, colorful beads, or make a creative mix.
LAIRAT NECKLACE90 Minutes
Learn to make a necklace that is fun and versatile, incorporating chain and wire-wrapping, beads, crystals and stones with a metal shape at the bottom for a variety of looks.
SILK THREAD NECKLACE90 Minutes
Using rows of silk thread and beads, stones and crystals, learn to design a sleek and fancy-looking necklace that cascades and sparkles.
TASSEL EARRINGS90 Minutes
Learn how to create stunning and complex tassel earrings, using a special wire-wrapping technique and incorporating wire and headpins.
