Intermediate & Advanced Jewelry Classes
The Intermediate and Advanced Workshops are taught by me - Dina, Owner of Modnitsa Atelier. Under my guided instruction, you will expand on your knowledge of color theory, advance your composition and design skills, and create stunning pieces with semi-precious stones, crystals, beads and findings. The Intermediate and Advanced classes are a great way to sharpen your design skills and further explore your creativity!
I have 2 intermediate and 2 advanced class options to choose from:
In this 1-Hour Earrings Workshop, you will expand on what you learned from the Beginner Earrings class, and finesse your techniques. You will learn to create eye-pins that hold your stones in place, and practice connecting them to a chain for a cluster earrings design.
You will be provided a set of tools to use during the class (you can purchase the tool kit to take home with you if you wish). You will also receive all the necessary findings (base metal gold or silver colored ear wires, chain and wire) to construct your pieces.
Stones and beads are not included in the class price, but there is large selection of semi-precious stones, crystals and beads available for purchase (prices start at $10). You are also welcome to bring any stones you'd like to include in your design.
In this 1-Hour Necklace Workshop, you will expand on what you learned from the Beginner Necklace class, and finesse your techniques. You will learn to incorporate chain into your necklace to add sophistication and polish. You will be able to choose from a variety of gold and silver colored chains for the class.

I'm always impressed and excited to see what my students design in my jewelry classes. Below are some recent works from my Intermediate and Advanced Jewelry Classes.
Tools are provided for use during all of our classes and I supply the findings you need to design your pieces. If you'd like to continue working on your designs at home, I recommend you purchase a tool kit.
