Beginner Jewelry Classes

All workshops at Modnitsa Atelier studio are taught by me - Dina, Owner of Modnitsa Atelier. Under my guided instruction, you will explore color theory, learn about composition and design, and craft unique and stunning jewelry using semi-precious stones, crystals, beads and silver findings. All my classes are hands on, high-energy and super fun!

I have 3 beginner class options to choose from:

  • In this 1-hour workshop you will learn to make a beautiful pair of drop earrings using the wire-wrapping technique. The design has one wire-wrapped stone on top of another stone, connected via head-pins.

    You will be provided a set of tools to use during the class (you can purchase the tool kit to take home with you if you wish). You will also receive all the necessary findings (ear wires and wire) to construct your pieces. Stones and beads are not included in the class price, but I have a large selection of semi-precious stones, crystals and beads available for purchase (prices start at $10). You are also welcome to bring any stones you'd like to include in your design.

  • In this 1-hour workshop you will learn to make a stunning strung necklace. You will learn how to properly finish the necklace with a clasp and extender chain.

    You will be provided a set of tools to use during the class (you can purchase the tool kit to take home with you if you wish). You will also receive all the necessary findings (string, clasp, chain, crimp beads) to construct your pieces. Stones and beads are not included in the class price, but I have a large selection of semi-precious stones, crystals and beads available for purchase (prices start at $10). You are also welcome to bring any stones you'd like to include in your design.

  • In this 2-hour workshop you will learn to make a pair of drop earrings using the wire-wrapping technique, AND a strung necklace.
